yarn: 4 (4, 5, 6, 7) skeins DK weight wool. Rowan Pure Wool Superwash DK  50g (137 yards/125m) was used for sample | photographed in Flint 106 to fit size 6-12m
gauge: 34 sts and 35 rows = 4”/10cm over front 36- stitch cable pattern using larger needles
needles: 1 pair US3 / 3.25mm needles and 1 pair US4 / 3.5mm needles or size needed to obtain gauge
notions: cable needle, 6 buttons, blunt tapestry needle, scrap yarn in contrasting color
