Hartington

Finished.  Finally.  Love.  It was a bit of indulgence to take the time to knit a pattern I did not write, but lessons were learned.

1.  Never leave home without a row counter.

2. If you're going to leave a project on the shelf for 18 months,, take good notes before setting aside (including needle size and last row knit) and pin it to the garment.

3. Brush hair before photo shoot. Or at least look in a mirror.

Knit as written with very minor mods.  I left an additional stitch on each side of the neck in front and back (4 more stitches total) and knit the neck 2 rows further than called for.  I did not pick up as many stitches as called for around the hem.  If I'm honest, I couldn't understand the instructions for the hem bind off, so I used an applied i-cord bind off - which looks about right. I probably should have used a smaller needle so that it would curl under.  If it continues to bother me, as I suspect it will, I will reknit.

The chart was a little tricky to follow - much easier once i used my colored pencils to outline my size in one color and the stitch repeat in another.   It took an embarrassing amount of time to memorize the repeat for the body.
